lyrics
Face first in gloves, I got some cancer for your love.
But you can only die twice, it’s that second time that
Makes the first time seem so nice.
As far as I can tell, my angel, she fell,
Her wings are sticking through her dress
And I don’t want to look, but I must, she mistook me
For one who could be save, I guess.
And I know what they say, we look the same in the dark,
Yeah I know what they’ll say, I walked in Ashbury Park
Saw my troubles in the hearts of men.
Hate’s a girl with pretty eyes, but I’m just not the type.
Truthfully I believe that anyone who dies kills themself.
And I fell from great heights, and saw a lot,
However fast it passed.
And I don’t really like the way that I’ve become,
But I can’t stop it now, when the madness comes
I’ll get out.

Just saw them performing much of this album on their west coast tour. San Diego and Pioneertown dates. Didn’t know any of them lol. I’m all about their old shit but I like this. Playing it more and more. Appreciate the evolution of one of my favorite bands in the world since middle school! 🖤 Red
Land of Talk return after a seven-year absence with a record full of mournful, bluish synths and the glorious vocals of Elizabeth Powell. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 20, 2017
Their name is misleading: Nebraska group Uh Oh deliver delightfully raucous, guitar-driven rock & roll with rootsy hooks for days. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 4, 2021

Supermoon is a great project and the mix of Morgan and Jake’s voices work so well together. With folk rock and country elements i find myself humming these tunes all day. I am a huge fan of the clever lyrics and the hooks. It’s lovingly put together and Jake shines just as much Morgan. Especially on Prepared to Lose, the vulnerability is palpable but also so relatable. Jonathan London
